Journalist: Good Morning, we are on Radio 9 and today we have a special guest, I have the pleasure of interview Adam Smith, an European comissioner. Adam: Hello, the pleasure is mine, as you said I'm an European comissioner and I work to protect the minority languages in Europe. Journalist: That's a very interesting job. What is the minimum of speakers a minotiry language must have?  Adam: There is no minimum and maximum because there're a lot of diferents languages. Journalist: Where can we found those minority languages? Adam: Usually, in little territories, but also can be in big territories Journalist: Why we should protect those languafes? Adam: Because the culture of many different areas and small towns would be lost Journalist: That's all. Thank you very much, it has been a pleasure Adam Belén Querol

Jodie: Hi John, you can call me Jodie instead of European comissioner to make the interview more close. John: Ok Jodie, how many years have you been working as an European comissioner? Jodie: I have been working for nine years. John: Everyone is talking about how the European Union is protecting the rights of minority languages, isn't it? Jodie: Well, you are right but I can't explain that to you because it is private information. The only thing I can tell you is that everything is working as expected. John: But what method are you specifically doing? Jodie: I can only tell you that it is not being easy to protect the rights of those languages but we are closel...

Dialogue

Marta and David, two teachers, are discussing the rights and wrongs of Informations and Communication Technology (ICT) as a school subject. Marta: David, I think that these year we have to incorporate ICT as a school subject. The students of this century are tied to the technology and a subject like these will motivate them. David: I don't think so, they spend most of the day hooked on phones and screens playing games and go online on different apps like Instagram and others. If we put these subject they won't pay attention in class because they are gonig to stay all the hour with their phones. Am I wrong? Marta: Oh, looking by this way... you are right. But if we don't allow the phones at class? They will have to work with laptops or with the school computers, some computer ban the entrance of some websites. David: Oh Marta! Good idea! Marta: The students will learn more about  ICT. It could help in their future jobs and also in their day-to-day....
