Pride & Prejudice

Pride & Prejudice is 2005 romantic drama movie directed by Joe Wright and based on Jane Austen's novel. The film is set in England in the 18th century. It shows the Bennet household with five sisters, and one father and a capricious mother with the same object; marry their daughters with valuable men to save the poor family to lose their family estate.

 Fortune smiles when the young and rich Mr. Bingley rents a mansion in their area. As community dance start attraction between Bingley and the eldest Bennet girl, dislike between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, but there's a social difference separating them. Elizabeth is attentive to the bad manners of her mother and younger sisters and the disapproval of Mr. Bingley’s sister and his friend, Mr. Darcy. This is Elisabeth’s love story. Her first dislike in the unfriendly and arrogant Mr. Darcy is only deepened the more she learns about him. But she can’t escape her unexplainable feelings for Darcy, and she can’t understand why he continues to express interest in her.

 This film offers the precision of good acting and the beauty of the English countryside. But also Austen’s story begins the conversations about issues of growing up, finding a relationship, history, culture and others.

 I recommend this movie to everyone, but especially to teenagers and romantic drama fans.

Ruth Blancafort was born in Barcelona in 16 of setembre of 1996. She was started the school with 3 years old in Octavio Paz until the 5 years, then she was started the primary at E.T.P.Clot. When she started elementary school, she enrolled in chess classes, which was very good but she decided to quit because she was the only girl. She began to discover that he loved to read and write, when seh arrived at home the first thing he did was read, and also won many awards in the school. She started the medical career, which the first years have a very bad time, but now thinks that these bad times have taught him many things.  With 20 years started with a feminist associaton and she started to get excited with feminism. I admire this person because he has taught me a lot and has brought me many good things. Is an example to follow for me and for all people. Blancafort, Maria

The most strange dream I've ever had! (Marina)

What's up Mark! How have you been lately? I'm sorry to didn't write you for a long time, I have been too busy with exams and projects. I write you because I have had a very strange dream... Yesterday I dreamt about you in a mysterious way; we were at the beginning of a roller coaster too nervous, and when we arrived at the top, the roller-coaster stopped and crushed! We were falling and when we were about to arrive to the ground, I woke up, I catch the phone and I saw your missed call. It's so shocking that I was dreaming about you and when I woke up there were a missed call from you. I think that this is a sign of seeing each other again, do you agee? Marta and David, two teachers, are discussing the rights and wrongs of Informations and Communication Technology (ICT) as a school subject. Marta: David, I think that these year we have to incorporate ICT as a school subject. The students of this century are tied to the technology and a subject like these will motivate them. David: I don't think so, they spend most of the day hooked on phones and screens playing games and go online on different apps like Instagram and others. If we put these subject they won't pay attention in class because they are gonig to stay all the hour with their phones. Am I wrong? Marta: Oh, looking by this way... you are right. But if we don't allow the phones at class? They will have to work with laptops or with the school computers, some computer ban the entrance of some websites. David: Oh Marta! Good idea! Marta: The students will learn more about  ICT. It could help in their future jobs and also in their day-to-day....
